What is a Stontato?
A Stontato is a small holiday companion made from a real natural stone, dressed by hand, and packed in a keepsake gift box with your personal message card. Each one is different because every stone is different.
Is every Stontato genuinely different?
Yes. Shape, size, texture, markings, and little personality details will vary from one companion to the next. That is part of the charm, not a defect.
Is it a Christmas decoration or a gift?
Both. It arrives ready to gift, but many people also bring it back out every December as part of their holiday décor.
Where do the stones come from?
Each Stontato begins with a natural stone that is carefully collected and selected before being cleaned, sealed, dressed, and packed by hand.
How long does a Stontato last?
With normal indoor use, it is designed to last for years. Store it safely between seasons and bring it back out each Christmas.
Does a Stontato have any smell?
No. Each companion is cleaned and sealed before packing, so it arrives odor-free and ready to display or gift.
Who is this collection designed for?
It is for people who are hard to shop for, people who love unusual gifts, and anyone who deserves something more memorable than a gift card.
How does the Mystery Stontato work?
Our studio chooses the companion for you. You will not know exactly which one is coming, and neither will your recipient. The surprise is the point.
What is included with every Stontato?
Every Stontato comes with the hand-dressed companion, a keepsake gift box, and your personal message card.
Can I personalize my message card?
Yes. You will be able to write the message during ordering. It can be heartfelt, funny, simple, strange, or completely unexpected.
When will pricing be announced?
Pricing opens on August 1, 2026. Guestlist members receive first access through a private ordering link.
Why is the 2026 collection limited?
Because each Stontato is made by hand in small batches. Once the Christmas 2026 batch is gone, it will not be restocked.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Shipping details, including international options, will be shared when ordering opens. For a specific destination, email hello@stontato.com.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@stontato.com and we will help make it right. We pack each order carefully, but if something goes wrong in transit, we want to know.
How should I store it between seasons?
Keep it in its box in a dry indoor place. A shelf, mantel, desk, or holiday storage box is perfectly fine.

What we collect: When you join the guestlist, we collect only your email address.
How we use it: Your email is used only to send Stontato-related messages, such as your confirmation, production updates, and your private early-access ordering link.
Who we share it with: Nobody. Your email is never sold or shared with any third party.
Storage: Registrations are stored in a protected guestlist system used only by Stontato.
Your rights: Request removal anytime by emailing hello@stontato.com with the subject "Remove me." We will delete your record within 5 business days.
Cookies: This page uses no tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. Session storage is used only to remember your registration state during your current browser session.

Product: Stontato companions are handcrafted from natural stones. Variations in shape, size, tone, and character are expected and are not defects. Product images are representative; each finished companion will vary naturally.
Pricing: Pricing is disclosed when ordering opens. Joining the guestlist does not create a purchase agreement or price guarantee.
Intellectual property: All copy, design, and brand assets are the property of Stontato. The Stontato™ mark is proprietary. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
Limitation of liability: This site is provided as-is. Stontato is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this page.
Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Stontato began the way most unexpected ideas do — as something that refused to stay small. We specialize in limited, small-batch holiday drops, transforming genuine natural river stones into hand-dressed seasonal companions. Each one is individually crafted and placed inside an elegant presentation box alongside your personalized message card, then shipped directly to someone who will not see it coming.
As an independent studio based in Canada, we deliberately reject mass production. No factories, no molds, and no shortcuts. Every companion in our Christmas 2026 collection is sourced, styled, and packaged entirely by hand — made slowly, deliberately, and in small batches.
We do not make mass-market products. We make the kind of keepsake your family brings back out every December, sets on the mantel, and argues about who gets to keep.
